Shunya has served for three decades in non-profit leadership and has a consulting background in cultural competency and organizational development. He has been a featured speaker at national and international conferences, focusing on the intersection of healing and spirituality. His journey of overcoming and thriving with AIDS has been an inspiration for many and fuels his passion for serving others.
Growing up in Malaysia and Japan, Desiree's journey as a queer filmmaker and spiritual seeker brought her to Canada, where she found her true calling in bringing love, light, and healing through the unique stories she continues to transcend geographical, cultural and spiritual borders to tell. Ever since her spiritual awakening in 2012, she now channels the same passion into teaching meditation at Qmunity, Vancouver's LGBTQ Centre, and private classes.
